I just adore Halloween. When I was asked if I could do a tutorial for Spellbinders® A Gilded Life Collection, the answer is yes, of course! For this project I chose to create a dressed up, Halloween cabinet card. According to Wikipedia.com, "a cabinet card was a style of photograph which was widely used for photographic portraiture after 1870. It consisted of a thin photograph mounted on a card typically measuring 108 by 165 mm (4¼ x 6½")."

Today I created this cute gift card bag showcasing Spellbinders® Die D-Lites™ Sentiments One die templates. I am always trying to figure out different ways to stretch my basic supplies to save money. A few weekends ago, I picked up some Kraft bags and started creating fun projects with them. For today's project, I turned a basic bag into a pretty Congratulations 5¼ x 4¼” gift card holder.

Hi Friends, 

Last school year, one of my sons lost a friend from school to suicide. I became extremely concerned when my son started asking my husband, Jeff, and I the hard questions, regarding teen suicide and we really couldn't answer them. I am proud to say I have partnered with a great organization to help bring education for parents and teens on methods for preventing suicide. Teen Lifeline is a 24 hour suicide prevention hotline for teens. The hotline is totally operated by teens. Any teen struggling through thoughts ...
