I have been so upset with the unfolding events in Boston this week, that I feel I need to reflect deeply within myself to understand what is happening to this wonderful country of ours. It really shakes a person to the core of their security when a national tragedy happens. Some questions that start to pop out in my head are, what kind of future are my children going to have? How can people be so intolerant of freedom? And the most important of all questions is how do we rebuild, move forward, and prevent this from happening again?

On Earth Day I think of not only recycling but the creatures of nature, taking care of the Earth will trickle down to all animals of the world. Reduce, Reuse, Recycle -Earth Day card   Tuesday, April 16, 2013

Hi everyone!  It's Michelle here with another post celebrating Earth Day.  Earth Day is April 22nd and it's easlier than you think to Go Green!  EPA.gov has lots of tips and ways to help the environment. 

Here are a couple of my favorites from the site:

1. Run your dishwasher only when it's full. Don't pre-rinse dishes - tests show pre-rinsing doesn't improve dishwasher cleaning, and you'll save as much as 20 gallons of water per load (who knew?).

2. Fix that leak. Leaky faucets can waste thousands of gallons of water each year, like money down the drain -literally.
