Win as We celebrate with Vinyl and Glitter   Monday, October 03, 2011
by Kazan Clark   Post Type: Contest

I loved Stacey's message to us about taking time to craft with our children.  My girls and I try to craft together as much as possible.  I have a dedicated storage area for them in my studio where they have access to all my crafty leftovers. Together they make versions of whatever project I am working on. I adore their artworks and I really do treasure this time we have together.

Glitter pumpkin and vinyl

This week we decorated pumpkins by cutting out vinyl shapes from different Spellbinders™die templates.  We adhered the vinyl cut outs to the pumpkins and I sprayed them with glitter spray paint.  We added little tags to personalized the pumpkins before they took their place of honor in front of our fire place.

Create a Mask for Spray Paint with Vinyl

Spellbinders Paper Arts Supplies:

Cross Promotional Partner:

Other:

Glitter spray paint, berry beads, ribbon, pumpkin, vinyl, button and twine

My daughters, Ashton and Alexandra, each selected the shapes from my stash of Spellbinders die templates to decorate their pumpkins.

I trimmed the pieces of vinyl to fit each shape and under Mama's watchful eye they cut out the shapes using my Spellbinders Grand Calibur™ machine.  I was so impressed how easy it was to cut the vinyl with Spellbinders die templates and how child-friendly this project was to create.  Thanks for the reminder Stacey!

In honor of our anniversary we would like to do a little giveaway.  Today you could be the lucky reader of this blog post who wins this set of Spellbinders Grand Nestabilities® Labels Eleven die templates.  All you have to do to enter is leave me a comment on this post.  I would love to know which projects you love and which you would love to see more of.

Readers will have until Thursday, Oct 6 (11:59 pm MST) to share their comments. Holly will give away another set of die templates on Thursday, October 6 and Julie ends the celebration with a giveaway on Saturday October 8, 2011.   Three winners, one from each blog post, will be selected randomly and announced on Thursday, October  13, 2011 on the Spellbinders Blog.

I had so much fun on Friday spending some time with two of my favorite peeps, Donna Salazar and Jen Cushman, at the Sweet Salvage Occasional sale in Phoenix. This unique sale is put together by 2 amazing women, Katie Hibbs and Kim Rawlins.

There are all sorts of treasures to be found for every decorator and collector's taste. This sale takes place once a month and attracts people from near by states to the Phoenix area seeking out the many unique treasures to be found.

See the entire A Question for You! post.
