This past week, in Irving, TX... Our very own Ken Oliver got to be a part of the Grand Opening of a new Michaels Store! He was a special guest along with Emmy Nominees Cathie Filian and Steve Piacenza from Mod Podge, Jo Pearson of TLC's Craft Wars, and many more! Spellbinders is thrilled to have been a part of such an exciting event!

Seems like all the craft stores where I live (Atlanta, GA suburb) carry "a limited line". Maybe this new recognition will help them see that people will buy this stuff!! It's always the old standards on the rack (still a good thing) and you have to watch them like a hawk to catch the one or two of each newbie!! After mid-August, I will have to hit each store, each morning to see if one of the new designs shows up on the rack. I'm always wondering if one day a couple of ladies will be slugging it out in front of the Spellbinders rack over one die they both want! Let's hope not, we are (primarily) ladies after all even if we are scrappers!!! Best of luck in all your endeavors... don't know what we'd do without you!
