by Kelly Loubet   Post Type: Announcement

Becky Fleck has done it again with five new sets of PageMaps dies! These dies correlate perfectly with Becky's monthly PageMaps layouts or all on their own for cards, gifts, and more! This month... we're talking about Pinwheels. Who doesn't love pinwheels!? They are the perfect representation of sunshine, good times, and carefree summer days!

This layout by Marla Kress shows a fun way to use Becky's Pinwheels:

I would make a pinwheel banner by hanging pinwheels upside down from a ribbon or cord. I'd do this by using straws for the sticks, punching a small hole on each side of the bottom of the straw, then stringing the pinwheels through and tying a knot on either side of each pinwheel to hold it in place. Just make the straws a little shorter than you would for a normal pinwheel.

I don''t think I would use them on a layout.  They look great on yours but I put mine in protective sheets and then in an album.. Now i I was doing a layout for a shadow box or frame.  YES I WOULD... so adorable.

i would put them on either only if they would lie flat because it would be to bulky in scrapbook and cost more than the normal 65 cents for a card i think but i do love them

I'd love to try and find a way to use them in my garden!  Perhaps laminate my paper and then cut them.  I think they would look so pretty blowing in the garden breeze!

I just thought of something else.  I think they would look beautiful set up in a big vase like a floral bouquet.  Just imagine all the gorgeous paper and colors you could use!

I love the pinwheels but wouldn't use them on a layout that would go in an album. I would definitely use them on a display layout and I love the idea of making a floral bouquet from gorgeous paper. We all have so many different pattern papers that would make amazing pinwheel flowers!
