by Beate Johns   Post Type: Card

I have another card to show you, created with a gorgeous new die set from the latest release.

Spellbinders™ Paper Arts Supplies:

Preferred Partners:

  • Flourishes - Roses are Red, Winter Blossom
  • Want2Scrap - Fancy That! Border bling, Sleek Strip Silver Rhinestones
Cross Promotional Partners:
Others:
  • Blue and Black Ink, White Cardstock, Blending Tool, Alcohol Based Marker
I started by stamping an image from Flourishes new Roses in Red in black ink on white cardstock. Since the image was a bit too large for the second largest Labels Four die, I cut around one part of the image that was sticking out of the die.

  • Next the die was slit under the cut out part of the image and the image was cut and embossed. The image was colored and the edges were sponged with blue ink.

  • Another piece of white cardstock was cut and embossed with the second largest of the Elegant Labels Four dies. The image label was adhered to the elegant label die cut with Scor-Tape.

  • More white cardstock was cut and embossed with the largest of the Elegant Label Four dies. I used a paper piercing tool (I always do), to clean out the small pieces out of the die. Again the edges were sponged with the same blue ink used for the image label.

  • White cardstock was cut and embossed with one of the dies. The center was sponged with blue ink and a sentiment from Flourishes Winter Blossom was stamped in the center with black ink.

  • The large sponged piece was adhered to a 4 5/8" x 6 5/8" piece of white cardstock. Since the card front is so big, I couldn't cut the entire card base out of one cardstock piece. So I cut another 4 5/8" x 11" piece of white cardstock and scored it at 6 5/8". More Scor-Tape was added to the shorter part of the card base so I could adhere the card front to the base. SCRAPBOOK ADHESIVE BY 3L™ foam adhesive squares were added to the back of the sentiment and image panel.

  • The layers were adhered to the card base. Rhinestones from Want2Scrap finish off the card.

Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope this inspires you to create with your dies today! Have a wonderful day.

    Hugs and smiles
