It is an exciting time for Spellbinders, as we are going to the 2013 Emmy Awards! We are celebrating all month with fantastic giveaways, sharing fabulous tutorials and a lot more. Join us as Stacey Caron and Spellbinders Walk the Red Carpet! Not only is it a thrilling time for the company but for me as well, as this is my first official post as a Spellblogger. I am giddy with excitement, and ideas for upcoming projects are dancing in my head. Today, I've created a Glitzy vintage inspired Bezel Necklace with Earrings in celebration!

One of my favorite portions of the award show is to watch the arrival of
the celebrities and their amazing attire. All the bling and flowing
fabrics are so glamorous. It's so easy to make beautiful jewelry with Susan Lenart Kazmer for Spellbinders® Media Mixáge™ Bezels!
To create your glittery bezels, fill half of 4 Oval One Bezel #1 (with #1 being the smallest) with sage green glass glitter. Mix and stir ICE Resin® according to manufacturer's instructions and fill bezels. Fill half of 2 Oval One Bezel #2 and 1 of Rectangles One Bezel #1 with glass glitter and fill with resin. Add a decorative bead cap and pearl to the bottom of both of Oval One Bezels #2 and Rectangle One Bezel as shown below. Allow to dry overnight.
To create your pearl connectors, thread 6mm ivory pearls onto an eye pin, then with your round nose pliers, create a loop. Bend this piece into a small arch as shown below. Create 4 of these.
For the second part of your pearl connector, thread one silver ball, a bead cap, a pale green 9mm pearl, bead cap, silver ball onto an eye pin, then create a loop with your round nose pliers. Create 6 of these.
With 20 gauge silver wire and the Jump Ring Maker (using 6mm mandrel), create 6 jump rings. Create 10 jump rings using the silver wire and 4mm mandrel. On a 6mm jump ring, attach the top of one arched pearl pin, a green pearl pin, and another arched pearl pin. With another 6mm jump ring, attach the bottom of each pin to a jump ring (as shown in the photograph). Make 2 of these.
To create your dangling single pearl, thread a pale green pearl to a head pin and create a loop with your round nose pliers. Make 3 of these.
Using the 4mm jump rings, begin putting your necklace together. Attach dangling single pearl to Rectangle One #1 bezel. Beginning on left side of Rectangle One #1 bezel, add an arched pearl connectors. Attach Oval One #2 Bezel to the arched pearl connector. Add single green pearl connector to Oval One #2 Bezel. Attach Oval One #1 Bezel to single green pearl connector, then add single green pearl connector to Oval One #1 Bezel. Repeat for the right side and finish off with a hook and eye clasp. If you want to make the necklace longer, simply create 2 additional single green pearl connectors and add to the ends of the necklace before you attach the clasp.
To create the earrings, make 2 tiny pearl pins by threading a silver ball, 4mm ivory pearl, silver ball to an eye pin and make a loop with your round nose pliers. Put your earrings together by attaching the dangling green pearl to the bottom of Oval One #1 Bezel, then add your pearl pins to the top, then finish them off with sterling silver ball ear wires.
Here is a close up view of the Pearl Connectors and bottom portion of the necklace.
