This week we are featuring the new Die D-Lites - this range of Dies appeals to me personally and are a pleasure to create with - the hardest thing about it was choosing which one to use.
I have had a lot of fun with this card, which is simple to make but has all of the gorgeous details of filigree Dies - the fact that the Dies work with one another to create an elegant card without hours of work - has to appeal to us all. As you follow long on my Tutorial, you will see just how easy it is.

Start by cut/emboss two (2) Labels Eight Nestabilities #6 in white card. Scor one Labels Eight at 1cm from the top, fold in and add SCRAPBOOK ADHESIVES BY 3L™ - E-Z Adhesive Runner - along the scored card. Attach to the second Labels Eight to create the card base.
Cut/emboss one (1) Labels Eight Nestabilities #5 in Authentique™ Paper. Sand the embossed edge using a Sanding Block - to give a distressed look and the appearance of another layer.
Cut/ emboss four (4) Corner Flourish Shapeabilities Die D-Lites #1 Die, followed by one (1) Frame Two Die D-Lites #2 in white card. Tuck a Corner Flourish behind each corner of the Labels Eight - adhere using liquid glue. Attach the patterned paper to the card base.
Place the Labels Eight Die over the card base and using the Die as a Stencil, sponging around the inside edges using IMAGINE Crafts®/Tsukineko® Delicata™ Pigment Ink and a Jumbo Dauber.
Cut/emboss Frames Two #2 using thick white card stock. Adhere the Labels Eight with the Corner Flourishes to the card base using SCRAPBOOK ADHESIVES BY 3L™ - E-Z Adhesive Runner. Add the Frames Two in the center of the layered base using SCRAPBOOK ADHESIVES BY 3L™ - Foam Squares as shown below.
Adhere the Frames Two the the center of the card using SCRAPBOOK ADHESIVES BY 3L™ - 3D Foam Squares. Wrap May Arts - Ribbon around the card and secure using double sided tape in the center of the Frame. Tie a double bow and secure using liquid glue.
To create the Bezel Hatpin I added a flat button from my stash into the Bezel and half filled it up with Ice Resin and set it aside to partially dry, then added a heart embellishments and more Ice Resin. Once dry, I added some bling and popped it through the bow and finished it off with a little bit more bling, adding a clear
backing from an earring onto the end of the pin.
As you can see, it is so easy to create a detailed card with the Die
D-Lites - those extra details can be added with a simple corner, or a
beautiful little frame - the probabilities are endless - with every
look from elegant to whimsical and complement your favorite
Spellbinders dies as accents or embellishments. Truly versatile in every
way! I hope you are as excited about these Dies as I am.
