How do I keep my Spellbinders Wizard Machine from sliding during use?

The Spellbinders Wizard Machine is designed with non-slip pads on each end, but if you find that your table is still too slippery, place your Spellbinders Wizard Machine on top of a rubber shelf liner or other non-slip surface. Hold the machine on the left side with the long leg/tray away from you while using it to cut and emboss.

How do I unjam a sandwich in the Spellbinders Wizard Machine?

On the yoke of the handle is a reversing button or switch. Push in and the movement will reverse (or switch the direction of the lever) as you push or pull the handle. Push the button again to go back to original direction. Getting a sandwich stuck can be caused by pulling the lever back beyond the notch on the side of the machine once the sandwich has been engaged in the rollers. Do not force a sandwich, instead make sure it is constructed correctly, and the dies are in the center of them mats.

I hear a clicking sound from my handle, is this normal?

We like to say that if you hear the sound, you know that it’s working! It’s simply the moving gear action in the base of the lever.
