Everybody loves a Wedding, they are so romantic and a great opportunity to create a beautiful keepsake for the happy couple. This weeks theme at Spellbinders Paper Arts is Weddings and Beate started us off beautifully with her fabulous Video Tutorial for an elegant Bridesmaid Gift Box. I am going to show you, step-by-step, how to create this beautifully romantic, but 'oh so easy' Wedding card.

Other: Scissors, Double Sided Tape, dauber, ribbon, Heart image
Start by cutting the white card stock to 10cm x 30cm - score at 15cm and fold in half. Next cut the largest size Romantic Rectangles Nestabilities using white card - I have used recycled card from packaging - I love to recycle and it is slightly thicker card, giving a firm finish. Also Lacey Circles Nestabilities - one (1) of the largest size and one Standard Circles Nestabilities, again the largest size. While still in the Die use the Standard Circles as a mask, sponge lightly with pink ink to create a soft frame, repeating this with the Home Sweet Home tag

Next emboss white card stock using the Hearts M-Bossabililties, trim this to fit inside the Romantic Rectangles and attach using Scor-Pal® tape. 8.5cm x 13.5cm. Lightly distress the edges using your scissors or Distressing tool. I find that by adding your double sided tape at the back of the card prior to distressing, you have more control of the depth of the distressing, especially if you are just wanting it to be light, as we are wanting in this case.

Attach the cut out image to the sponged Standard Circle, then adhere to the Lacey Circles Nestabilities using foam tape. Attach the Want2Scrap Scalloped Heart around the image.

Attach white ribbon with the top of the ribbon 4cm up from the lower
edge of the card. Position layered image and adhere using foam tape.
Attach the Home Sweet Home Tag to the center of the bow using
Zip Dry Glue, next attach a button, followed by a Want2Scrap
Rhinestone Bling to the center of the button. Finish off by attaching
the layered Romantic Rectangles to the card base.

I hope you have enjoyed this tutorial and are inspired to create a beautiful Wedding card, or perhaps a Wedding Anniversary card - such beautiful occasions to create a special keepsake for.
