General Store Policies

Order Processing:

Orders are processed in the order they are received. Orders are accepted with the understanding that stock is available. In some cases, limited availability may prevent us from shipping the quantity you requested. As such, merchandise in your order may be removed, and your credit card will be credited for the amount of those item(s) without prior notification. Please know we will do our best to fulfill your complete order. Processing of orders can take between 2 to 4 business days from date order was received. Our business days are Monday through Friday. Orders are not processed on weekends or holidays. When the orders ship, you will receive a shipping notification with tracking information via email. Creative Rewards points earned from purchases will be applied at time of shipping. You will also receive a notification when this happens.

Due to increased order volume please allow 3-5 additional days for order processing. Thanks for your patience!

Order Cancellations & Editing:

Once an order has been submitted we are unable to cancel or make any edits or changes to the orders. This includes removing or adding additional items to the order or making edits to billing & shipping information. Please ensure that your order is correct before completing your order.

Shipping Delivery:

Shipping method is determined based on the weight, dimension and distance of the shipment and the carrier. Carriers we use are USPS, UPS, EPOST, & FedExAt this time we do not offer expedited shipping.

Estimated Delivery Time:

Once an order is received, it takes 2 to 4 business days to process before it ships from the Spellbinders' warehouse. Once the order is in transit, Domestic US orders will take 2 - 7 business days, and International orders will take 2 - 21 business days to be delivered, depending on the shipping method and destination. Delivery may take more than stated shipping time if an order is held by the destination country’s local customs office. This means orders may take anywhere from 2 to 21+ business days to arrive.

Countries Not Served: Due to shipping method and rate challenges, we currently do not ship to the following countries: Afghanistan, China, Iraq, Israel, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Pakistan, Palestinian Territory, United Arab Emirates, South Sudan, Republic of SSD, and select others.

Spellbinders Web-store Shipping Methods:

US Continental orders: Orders will ship either USPS, UPS, or FedEx depending on the size of the order and the delivery location.

Canadian Orders: Canadian shipments have moved to general shipping rates. Carrier and methods may vary depending on the order size and location.

International Orders: International customers (Canada not included) may select the International shipping method of their choice at checkout. Taxes and duties will now be paid by the customer at time of delivery. We now offer three International shipping options: (Not every option will be available to every location.)

  • USPS Shipping (1-3 weeks shipping time)
  • FedEx Shipping (4-7 business days shipping time)
  • UPS Shipping (4-7 business days shipping time) 
All shipments outside the U.S. may be subject to import charges/fees (Duties, Customs, Tariffs, and VAT) which are set by the destination country. These are based on the purchased merchandise’s country of origin/manufacturing and the classification of that merchandise and may be levied once your package reaches destination country. Customs fees and policies are different from country to country and may change regularly. You should contact your local customs office for additional information. As the purchaser, you are responsible to pay all fees at time of delivery. Refunds are NOT allowed due to import charge refusal.

Free Shipping on $100+ US Continental Orders:

The following applies to Domestic US Mainland customers located in the contiguous 48 states. It does not apply to shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, or other US Territories: Spellbinders Website orders of $100.00 or more (after discounts and not including taxes or any other fees) will receive FREE US Domestic Shipping. Offer applies only to USPS Priority Mail or UPS Ground. Only available to residents of Domestic Mainland US customers located in the contiguous 48 states and is only available where USPS Priority Mail & UPS Ground Delivers. Offer is only available to individual consumer use only; not available to retail / wholesale / distributor customers; not for distribution; excludes taxes and any additional charges; not valid on any previous web, phone or retail purchases; cannot be redeemed for cash; void where prohibited. Terms & Conditions are subject to change.

Sales Tax

Sales tax is now being charged on ALL US orders. A default tax rate will be reflected in the cart and is recalculated at checkout based on the shipping address zip code.

This is subject to change based on changes to policies and regulations at the state, city, and municipal levels. For questions, please consult your tax advisor.  Updated July 1 2021.

Fraud Prevention & Customer Protection:

Spellbinders takes the protection of our customers very seriously. We reserve the right, without prior notice, to limit the order quantity on any product and/or refuse service to any customer. This includes holding or canceling orders that look suspicious. There are various fraud restrictions that may affect your order. This includes the IP address used when the order was placed, billing and shipping address variance, shipping addresses that are non-residential, and other bank or credit card restrictions. If your order was cancelled due to a fraud restriction, you may try to reorder by fixing erroneous information, changing the shipping address to a residential location, and/or changing to the PayPal payment method.

Return & Exchange Policy

SpellbindersPaperArts.com gladly accepts undamaged and unopened merchandise for return within 60 days of the purchase date. Only merchandise purchased from SpellbindersPaperArts.com will be accepted. To qualify for the refund, product(s) must arrive at our warehouse within  60 days of the original shipment and in the same condition we shipped it - unopened, unused, and undamaged. A Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA#) must be obtained before sending anything back. All Clearance Items are FINAL SALE. No returns, refunds, exchanges or warranties on these items, (except machines which are warrantied for ONE year from the date of purchase. You MUST have a proof of purchase from a valid seller to qualify. Warranty is NOT valid on any resale purchase of machines or systems such as EBAY, Garage Sales, Craigslist, or other non-approved resellers.Proof of purchase will be required. We cannot honor the return of an item you purchased at full price in exchange for the same item that is currently being offered as an online shopping special at a lesser price. We do not price match other retailers or prior purchases. If your purchase is from another store or retailer, then please contact that store directly.

To qualify for a return / refund please call our customer service team at 1-888-547-0400 or email customersupport@spellbinders.us to request an RMA # (return merchandise authorization). Once the RMA # is authorized and return is approved, then the merchandise must be returned to our warehouse at address listed below, within 60 days. Please repack the merchandise with the original packing slip. Please note RMA # and reason for return on packing slip. Please ensure merchandise is packed carefully to avoid damage, as damaged merchandise will not be accepted for return. Once we receive the returned merchandise in good condition, Spellbinders will verify and approve return and credit account on record used to make original purchase. Please note that all shipping costs related to return merchandise are the responsibility of the customer. If the return is due to our error, we will, of course, pay your return shipping costs. If you have any questions regarding your order please call our customer service team. Refused orders and unauthorized returns will NOT receive a refund or credit.

Damaged Goods/Lost Package Policy

In the event that you received damaged, defective or lost merchandise purchased from SpellbindersPaperArts.com, please call our customer service team at 1-888-547-0400 or email customersupport@spellbinders.us. If merchandise includes damage or a defect, please include photographic evidence. Damaged or defective merchandise will only be replaced within 60 days of purchase (Excluding machines, which have a 1-year warranty). Proof of purchase and photographic evidence of damage along with reason for damage will be required before replacement merchandise will be sent. Shipping costs will be covered by Spellbinders if damage, defect or error was on our part. Damaged merchandise due to abuse or misuse will not be accepted. For packages that have not been received within 14 days following the expected date, please call or email our customer support team. Some packages may experience a delay from the shipping provider and we will work to resolve the issue unless any fraud or abuse of our policy is discovered.

Warranty Policy

All Spellbinders machines come with a limited one (1) year warranty. They are warranted to be free of defects in workmanship and materials. Spellbinders will replace a defective product or parts without charge with proof of purchase within the one-year warranty. If the product is damaged due to misuse or neglect, or if the machine is taken apart, the warranty is null and void. You MUST have a proof of purchase from a valid seller to qualify. Warranty is NOT valid on any resale purchase of machines or systems such as EBAY, Garage Sales, Craigslist, or other non-approved resellers.

To make a warranty claim please email customersupport@spellbinders.us.

Please include the following information:

  1. Proof of Purchase including the purchase date.
  2. Photographic or video evidence of the defect.
  3. Please answer the following questions:
    1. When did you notice the machine not working properly?
    2. Were you die cutting or embossing?
    3. What plates were being used?

Once your warranty has been verified Spellbinders will determine warranty coverage and solution.
